This archive brings together the rarest expressions of Impruneta terracotta. Derived from the last remaining 19th-century Tuscan moulds, these complex forms represent the absolute summit of the discipline—where the tension between artistry and traditional craftsmanship is at its most profound.
These works are forged by individual masters who have devoted half a century to this specific clay, continuing a lineage of stewardship that is without compare. The historical continuity is absolute: one of our artisans continues to mine the exact quarry that provided the bricks for Brunelleschi’s dome, firing works in a kiln whose site dates back to the 15th century.
Within this collection, several pieces have been bespoke-altered to achieve the most authentic realisation of a philosophic and aesthetic ideal. They are designed to capture a sense of mystery in the observer's eye, prompting a questioning that makes them companions for a lifetime.
Acquisition details and full historical provenance are available upon private enquiry.
