Our design philosophy is rooted in a single, defining principle: bridging the gap between the historic and the modern as seamlessly as possible. We believe in the profound value of the human-made over the machine-made.
Whether curating an interior room or architecting an external landscape, our goal is to provide a sense of context with the past, while maintaining the forward momentum of contemporary living. We do not simply decorate; we create human spaces designed for genuine interaction, surrounded by objects and environments of enduring quality.
Working in close partnership with Katya Samuel of Eves and Samuel, we offer comprehensive interior design and advisory services. Samuel’s practice is driven by a passion for natural materials, supreme craftsmanship, and the transformative power of colour. Her expertise lies not just in sourcing beautiful objects, but in helping clients discover a visual language they might not have known they loved.
From integrating a single monumental piece of scagliola into a modern room, to conceptualising an entire interior scheme, we guide clients towards spaces that feel vibrant, highly curated, and deeply personal.
With over four decades of experience, Robert Moy’s approach to exterior spaces is shaped by a lifelong immersion in the natural world. His early years were spent building and working on wildlife parks in Norfolk and Scotland, fostering an innate understanding of natural ecosystems. Throughout his twenties, Moy lived in Tuscany, restoring and maintaining the historic estates of English expatriates.
Returning to England in 1998, his practice has evolved to meet the modern demand for sanctuary. While his portfolio includes expansive country properties, his primary focus is often on urban gardens – designing critical spaces for clients to reconnect with nature within the city. Deeply influenced by classical philosophers, the Italian Renaissance, and the English Romantics, Moy’s designs are a testament to his childhood working alongside animals and birds. His landscapes are designed to help us refind nature in our daily lives, whatever the scale of the space.
Executing a highly refined design requires more than just vision; it requires flawless orchestration. We maintain a trusted, extensive network of specialist artisans, logistical partners, and skilled tradespeople. From the initial architectural planning to the final installation, we are capable of managing the hidden complexities of a project, ensuring the transition from concept to reality is entirely seamless for the client.
We welcome initial enquiries from clients at all stages of the design process. Whether you are looking to acquire a specific piece, require guidance on integrating classical forms into a modern build, or wish to commission a complete interior or landscape redesign, we are here to help shape your vision.
