Studio Collection

Crafted in Pistoia by brothers Samuele and Matteo of Archeo, the Studio Collection represents the uncompromising continuation of a centuries-old Florentine discipline.

Forged from the legendary, stony clay of the River Arno – the exact material chosen by Brunelleschi to crown the Cathedral of Florence – these works are formed exactly as they would have been in the 15th century; the one exception being the use of gas instead of oak to heat the kilns. Utilising traditional plaster moulds, the clay is meticulously worked by hand and fired at extreme temperatures.

The result is a collection of architectural permanence, possessing a rare, government-licensed pedigree and an aesthetic resonance that commands any space.

To experience the scale and precision of these pieces in person, our gallery in Oxford is open by private viewing.
